Wow.. got this from facebook.. Thank You Lord, that i am fearfully and wonderfully made. Once again, the time of the year. Thank you all for all your well wishes... i appreciate every thought. Janice, xueping, isobel, gloria, adeline, pastor rol and laifun, amanda, phyllis, xiong, rebecca, cipei, annabella, laifong, sharon, jang, bipeng, mira, sok, ruixiang, charmaine, gifford, michelle, eve, vanessa, zhongyu, kit, cheryl, sarah, chrislyn, jenny, pearlyn, huilin, robin, valerie, cuiyun, jasmine, candy, cass, xiang... (sorry if i left your names out) and of course, thank YOU for the book and word of blessings... thank YOU and YOU for the nice dinner and catching up, plus the beautiful present n card... thank YOUs for the mini celebration... thank YOU for the ang pow... thank YOU for the pinky crocs... and thank YOU for the dinner and card... (YOUs know who YOUs are;)...) So many names... just to really show my appreciation. It's not the gift or celebration tt matter, but really your beautiful presence in my life that makes all the difference. thank you boys and girls, for making my birthday and life a special one. =D One year older... not yearning for all the presents or hoohah, but just a quiet moment to appreciate the people in my life, and especially, to thank God for what HE has done over these past years. Mr and Mrs Lionel Chan! =D Wow... all the preparation and anticipation... finally, my dearest cell leader is married! haha.. really happy to see their coming together, growing, preparation and finally union. Feels.... excited and things are just so... amazing.. Started off with all the preparation, making of guest book... visiting her new place... shopping for dresses... making of video and even the hen's night. haha.. amazing experience.. and of course the highlight, the final day! Had to wake up earlier on 3 oct, to prepare and get ready, then proceed to xiang's place by 630am. The make up artist were still working on her, so we went on the prepare for the gate crash session.. Pretty fun cos i've never been a jie mei before, but the guys ah... came late! and didnt participate as much lor.. bad bad. But still, lionel was pretty sporting and guess that made it a sweet thing la. Then travelling around for the tea ceremony... preparation for church wedding... being the reception was quite ok. got to see people whom i havent seen for a long time, like ade, sheryl ting.... the wedding was a sweet and pleasant one. Though xiang was abit emotional, it was a heart warming session. Xiang, i'm sure many were touched by your sharing... =) Went on to the hotel to rest before getting ready for dinner. Reception duty was abit tougher cos we didnt know the relatives. but the brothers were there to help... Oh oh.. and we were suppose to be the reserve table, but ended up having so much fun being hidden in a room. Guest room ok.. HAHA. no need for reservation, just sit, eat, talk and laugh however we like. woohoo! was definitely a fun day... and really enjoyed the fellowship with my sisters.. esp when they woke me up at 125am and had a "slurpy" session till 3 plus.. yawns.. Xiang ah, you are someone's wife now le wor... actually it's not very fast, but it's just... unbelievable! must learn to be a submissive and supportive wife, learning to love and support your dear.. learning to cook and do housework! Lionel, you ah, better take care of xiang... treasure and love her for who she is.. or else... you will see 10 girls running after you, one will a silencer to silence you! Term 3 is over! Finally hols... i can sleep more... haha =D Teachers' day celebration on monday was ok... pretty uptight the whole day and my biggest regret is that i didnt have a chance to pray with the com. but i did pray on my own, because i knew we can plan for everything, but it's only God who can make all things work well. And yup, God was with us... the whole concert went on well. And even the simple performance during lunch went on well. =) Thank God... Learning point: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight! Interesting ways through which God works... Last night my facebook account had a word from God and it says it's time to forgive yourself. Today during altar call, the person prayed a prayer of forgiveness and release of bitterness so that our hearts can be pure. Then cheryl prayed a prayer to know that God makes everything beautiful in His time. During QT, i read phi 3:14 and God told me to forget what is behind and press on towards what is ahead. Tonight's message from God on facebook is that it's OK. Just rest for a moment. It's OK. Yes, things are crazy, yes, the world is going nuts. Yet, deep underneath the stormy waves, there, in the core of your being, there is pure silence, pure love. And ... it's ... just ... OK. WOW. Awesome God...
